Formed of three musicians from three different nationalities, ARK combines folk music from Denmark, Great Britain and Germany to create a fresh sound. Lead by flute and fiddle, a simplistic but raw approach to arrangements of both traditional and self-composed material, plus backing from guitar and piano, creates easy listening music. Whilst keeping the roots of each countries’ traditions, ARK aims to slant the music towards a soft contemporary sound, making for a rounded enjoyable performance.
